Amanda Marsh
Music Editor
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Amanda knew music would be her future when her parents encouraged her to take piano lessons at age nine. Those lessons eventually led her to the frigid city of Boston to study at Berklee College of Music.
Experiencing real weather for the first time, Amanda soon found a way to avoid the cold by hiding in the school’s recording studios. Consequently, she uncovered a love for all things technical and engineering.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude in Film Scoring and Music Production and Engineering, Amanda returned to sunny California and the warm embrace of Los Angeles, where she found work assisting a composer.
Though waveforms became her second language Amanda realized that assisting a composer wasn’t her goal - music editing was. It drew from both the creative aspects of film scoring and the technical facets of music engineering that she’d grown to love. With that path clear in mind, she made the leap to JTN Music.
When not working, Amanda is a full-time mom to three beautiful, crazy, adorable, smelly cats.
