There’s no business like show business. As a child, Marken used to sing this lyric; now she lives it. With a background in musical theater, she developed a strong appreciation for the intersection between music and storytelling from a young age. As she became a professional in the industry, she also came to respect the symphony of collaboration, organization, and dedication it takes to bring these stories to life. This eventually led her behind the scenes, into the captivating and ever-evolving world of post-production.

She got her start at Sony Pictures Television during a busy pilot season, where she was introduced to the fast-paced world of television at a high level. From there, she moved into a Post Production Assistant role on The Blacklist, where she learned from seasoned editors and post teams and began building the foundation for her career. Since then, she has worked across multiple series as a Post Coordinator, supporting creative teams, managing workflows, and helping projects stay organized and on track.

Now at JTN Music, Marken is excited to bring her experience from the show side into a collaborative, music-driven environment. She’s especially drawn to the role music plays in shaping story and emotion, and she enjoys supporting teams and building systems that allow creative work to thrive.

Outside of work, Marken can usually be found making short films with her husband, belting classics at karaoke, and spending time with family and friends.
