Broxa Benesh
Studio Assistant
Broxa began her musical journey as a multi-instrumentalist, studying piano and cello performance. Her love for arranging and composition blossomed early, leading her to perform her own works at the Maryland Conservatory of Music. Over time, she discovered that visual media offered the most powerful way to express emotion through music, igniting a passion for storytelling through film.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Film and Media Scoring from Berklee College of Music, with a minor in Conducting. During her time at Berklee, she wore many hats - composing for indie films, conducting professional ensembles, performing in pit orchestras, and working as a session musician. Her path into music editing began while interning with editor Nick South, where she found herself drawn to the complexity and creative challenge of the craft.
Falling in love with the multifaceted nature of music editing, Broxa committed fully to pursuing it as a career, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a constant desire to grow.
