Marcelle Simpson
Music Editor
Marcelle Simpson has been obsessed with music and television since before she could talk. Her childhood home in New Jersey was filled with music by her grandmother, a professional classical pianist. Stemming from a desire to be like Grandma, Marcelle began studying piano at a young age. Her music education developed throughout high school, where she also grew to love playing the flute and singing in classical choirs. This musical obsession, combined with many, many hours spent in front of a television, naturally led Marcelle to find her passion for film music.
After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring, Marcelle moved to Los Angeles, where she began working with the JTN Music team. As a music editor, she is humbled by the opportunity to create quality content in an industry that has had such a profound impact on her life.
In her free time, Marcelle enjoys doing puzzles, cooking vegan food, and looking at pictures of pugs.
